I now find myself a moderator at Bronibooru, a pony image aggregator not to be confused with Ponibooru. "Cool westy, but I didn't not click off the journal notification so that you could ramble at me. This isn't Twitter!" So if you don't know what Bronibooru is, let me grab this snippet from ComradeCosmobot (the admin).
What is Bronibooru?
Bronibooru strives to be the number one imageboard for work-safe quality pony images on the web. The way I like to phrase it is that Bronibooru focuses on quality, not quantity. This means no adult images (or even shipping!), no ghastly amounts of blood and gore, and no low-effort memes, original characters, or art. In the process, however, we've also become the only imageboard which supports 3D images (MPO files for your DS browser) and SVG vectors, and the largest to support Flash uploads.
Why are so many images not on Bronibooru?
Ponygoons (and by extension, Bronibooru), has been guided by one primary guideline: "Don't be creepy." This guideline has guided Bronibooru's ruleset to the current day (although it has not been without its detractors on both sides). As a result, we on Bronibooru don't even tolerate the appearance of shipping, let alone the adult images you'll find on Ponibooru. Many (but not all) violent images have been kept off Bronibooru for the same reason.
But what about the many work-safe images which aren't on Bronibooru? Well, that's partly a matter of personal taste to be fair, but while we're busy trying to be the best work-safe imageboard, we figured we might as well separate the wheat from the chaff for you guys while we're busy filtering out the bad content.
